2015 Woman of the Year: Lumturije Asanoski, AAWAGC Vice President.

AAWAGC proudly presented the "2015 Woman of the Year Award" to Lumturije Asanoski in recognition of her dedication, commitment, teamwork, profesionalisem, leadership, and execellence.

Lumturije Asanoski serves as Vice President of the AAWAGC. As a practicing attorney licensed in both Illinois and Indiana, she helped incorporate and register AAWAGC as a non-for-profit, charitable organization. She aids AAWAGC in legal matters that may arise.

Lumturije practices in the Office of General Counsel at Valparaiso University. She practices Higher Education Law, Employment Law, Administrative Law, Immigration Law, and Civil Rights Law. In 2014, Lumturije was appointed as the University’s Title IX Coordinator and concentrates her practice on Title IX, Title VII, Clery Act, and Campus SaVE Act compliance.

During law school, Asanoski worked as a legal extern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana and Chicago Public Schools. Also during that time, as a legal intern for Valparaiso University Law’s Civil Clinic, she practiced family law while representing low-income clients. She also served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Valparaiso University Law Review and as a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant.
